Getting There

How to get to Helsinki

By plane

Around 120 international flights a day arrive at Helsinki-Vantaa Airport, which is located 20 km north of downtown Helsinki. The easiest way from the Airport to the city centre - or to the hotel - is by taxi. The fare is ~30-35 EUR and duration 20-30 minutes. Taxis are trustworthy and take payments by cash or credit cards.

There is also a Finnair airport bus from the airport to the city centre, which departs every 20 minutes, at 5,90 EUR.

Likewise the public transport (bus number 615) runs between the airport and Helsinki main railway station. Fare 4 EUR, duration 50 min; departure every 10-20 min.

Finnair and its daughter company Finland Travel Bureau (SMT) are the official carrier partnering for the INSME Annual Meeting.
