The International Conference will take place at Pörssisali Hall, 1st floor, Pörssitalo (Old Stock House )

Pörssitalo offers a historically unique environment for the 7th INSME Annual Meeting.

This building representing the National Romantic style was built in 1911-1912, Finland still under Russian empire.

The brokers left the house in the 1990s, when the stockexchange market was transferred to electronic securities trading.


The Old Stock House situates just in the very centre of Helsinki in 5 minutes walk of the main hotels, City of Helsinki main buildings and the headquarters of the European Commission Representation in Finland.

Dinner places/welcome reception:

The welcome reception on Monday evening (May 23) will take place at the Helsinki City Hall near the lively Market Square and the Presidential Palace. The entrance will be on the Old Town Hall's side at Aleksanterinkatu 20, in the center of the Senate Square beside the Prime Minster's Office and the Government House and right the opposite side of the famous Senate Church.

Helsinki City Hall is located in the “Lion Block” of the Empire-style city centre. The southern side of the block is dominated by the City Hall’s Neoclassical façade. The oldest buildings of the Lion Block date from the 18th century. Until the early 20th century, the Lion Block, together with its neighbouring areas, was the centre of the city’s business and social life.

The dinner gala on Tuesday evening (May 24) will take place at the Kulosaaren Casino.

Built in 1915, the Kulosaaren Casino is a traditional, high standard restaurant with the most beautiful sea view in Helsinki.


Acclaimed for its cuisine and unique atmosphere, it is one of the city’s most popular places for festive occasions – for groups both large and small. The spacious dining room offers a splendid view of the Gulf of Finland.
